Carbonara & lasagna was very good! Friendly staff and romantic ambiance. 5 stars!!!!!!

We had our 37th wedding anniversary dinner on August 1st. This was our first time going there. We were greeted by Carlos who took us to our table and he was our server for the evening. We had the shrimp scampi appetizer and ordered a bottle of wine and our food order was from the 3 course menu. The food was flavorful and presented cleanly on the plate. By cleanly I mean the food was plated with care. We were never rushed and the atmosphere was friendly. We felt at home in the restaurant. Carlos was great very knowledgeable. We will be back and try more items on the menu.

Went here with a party of four adults and two children. We were there for restaurant week, even though some of us didn't order off the restaurant week menu. Ambience was great very nicely decorated place. Lots of dark woods and comfortable chairs. The bar had on some good sports games. Service was excellent. Bread was good with pieces of Parmesan cheese and butter. Didn't like the Caesar salad that much thought it was pretty unremarkable. The short ribs with vegetables was delicious, the pesto was also very good as well as the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The lasagna , pasta with Bolognese and tiramisu were all OK. The New York style cheesecake was really good. I will probably return since there isn't much to choose from regarding Italian restaurants in the Coachella Valley in my opinion.

Husband and I went out for dinner tonight, and Waldo's did not disappoint! The ambiance is fabulous, but it was quite loud inside the restaurant. The bar was packed, and even though we were approximately ten to 15 minutes early, we were seated after only a short wait. Nara took our drink orders (a glass of Malbec and a Cosmo), and the Cosmo did not disappoint! We each ordered a salad (Caesar and Burrata), and the burrata was perfect. I ordered the seafood special with fettucini and white sauce (much like a Cioppino over pasta). The seafood (fish) was cooked to perfection. The veal shank with mushrooms and vegetables fell off the bone, a knife was not necessary. We did not order dessert. For a great Italian dinner, make reservations and go to Waldo's!

We had a wonderful dinner at Waldo's on a recent evening. I opted for the spinach salad and sausage in sauce and my husband got veal parmigiana so good! The sauce was amazing. Great fresh flavor and not too salty. Greens in the salad also fresh. The parmigiana was humongous! Definitely enough for 2 meals. Service was attentive for the most part, maybe a tad slow but we came at a busy time. Ambiance seemed family Italian.

We had a lovely dinner at Waldo. A quaint italian dining spot. We tried the chicken marsala and chicken picante both were very good. Service is super attentive. The fresh bread is delightful too. A decent caprese salad as well. Sunday seems to be half off bottles of wine as well. Score on that. Good dinner. Reasonable prices. Lovely vibe.
